My Life Pt 3

"I'm taking you." He said holding out his hand.

"What do you mean?" I asked looking at his hand.

"What I mean is, I'm taking you to find your parents. So many people let go of their dreams because there are people that stand in their way. Don't let go of yours. Don't turn into the so many others that let go." He said.

"What'd your name?" I asked.

"Darien. You're Kylie, I know." He said looking at me.

"I trust you. Just let's wait for night. That way we have a better chance. I can't believe I'm going to do this." I said. I looked at Darien and smiled, he smiled back.

That night I left a note on my neatly made bed. It reads...

'Dear Mom and Dad,

I need to find them now. Like I said, life is too short to just wait. I'll be fine, and don't worry. Have faith in me. I'll send a letter when I find them.

I took Dariens' hand and he picked me up bridal style. "Hold on." he said. I rapped my arms tight around his neck. I squinted my eyes closed. We rose in the air and I soon felt the wind blowing through my hair. I opened my eyes and saw that we were high above the trees.

I smiled and said, "I always wanted to fly. I can't believe I'm actually doing this."

"Don't tell me you dreamed of this your whole life so far." he said looking down at me.

"No, I always dreamed of being with my real family and being happy." I said.

I yawned and Darien said, "Go to sleep. I got you." So I closed my eyes and drifted into a nice, peaceful sleep.
