A Summers Day
Pensive she sits by the stream,
Thinking of nothing really.
Her lovely hand lets the water trail over it as she sits,
Wondering of nothing really.
The absolute beauty of nature fills her mind,
Dreaming of nothing really.
Only feeling the coolness of the water,
And it's gentle pressure on her hand.
Wishing for nothing really.
Only the rustling of leaves stirred by the wind does she hear,
Hoping for nothing really.
Only that this peace in her mind will last,
Thinking of nothing really.
