I wrote this shortly after 9-11 this year. |
Sitting in class, the car or the park bench, Listen on the radio, the person next to you, or the TV, Listen in horror, as what is going on, on 9-11. 9-11-2002- The day--Today's Dooms Day, Planes hit the buildings, crashingly suicidal, Smoke and fire forms, buildings fall, people screaming The unthought horrors are happeneing--right before our eyes 9-11-2003- one year passed-- some lives never found. Families watch the tv, listen to the radio, and search the internet, Have their relatives made it to heaven or hell? Was the son, daughter, mother or father to someone saved? Will their pain go away? Did the war help? Since when does fighting bring back the lives of loved ones? 9-11-2004- two years passed- still broken families and broken hearts. Slowly, recovery is being made, Graves and gravestone over bodies from the crushed buildings, Some graves have no bodies, those individuals... never found. Some were children, most were adults-- what did they think in their last moments? 9-11-2005-three years passed- lives becoming normal... almost. Still have Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up, do the families dress in black or do they share love in colors with the loved ones they do have? 9-11-2006- four years passed- still in war. Lives are normal, CNN still reports images and searchs for the leader of those killers. Thanksgiving is coming around again, Families pass turkey and mashed potatoes, Prayers are made, does our loved ones hear them? 9-11-2007- wow... fives years passed. Good job to the families, they have dealt with the horrors of life after the 9-11 for 5 years now. I give them my praise, love and best wishes, Life gets easier, live like God and pray to see your loved ones again! Would it be considered war or diplomatic arguments? They are looking for the leader, the man who sent those killers, Yet, they find nothing but fakes and foes. One day... One day... One day... One day they, the killers and their leader, will pay. God will handle them as we handle our hearts. Bad days come, Reuinions pass by, Remember those and you will be remembered Here's to a blessed reunion. |
