This is a poem/song about a man making decisions in his life and his day to day thoughts
I’m going to live life to my potential
But bring it back to basics
Maybe leave the city
And never look back

Maybe ill miss home
Maybe I won’t
But ill never know
If I never live life my own way

I met a girl yesterday
She already knew my name
I’d spoke to her friend the day before
And they both seemed the same
She told me all about her life
We had a drink or two
I answered some of her problems
It took me away from you

Maybe ill be a rock star
Or in the movies like I dreamed
Live life in the fast lane
Because that’s the way it seems

I read a book this morning
It brought back old memories
Some made me laugh some made me cry
But it made me realise life isn’t bad it’s good
And life is mine

People say dreaming is better than reality
Well maybe reality is a dream
And dreaming is reality
Or neither are what they seem

I got the paper this morning
Had a look through the pages
Read the headlines
And remembered the ages

Life is short and clocks tick fast
Before you know it your time has passed
You deserve your chance at life
Forgive and forget the bad times
Remember the good
Life’s to short to hold grudges
So never rush take your time
Time is precious and time is mine
