A girl you think you know

a heart of gold,
a mind of her own,

the strenght of a lion,
the courage of the unknown,

abition no one can touch,
and the wisdom of the old,

this is the girl you think you know,
this is what this girl only shows.

but deep down she is alone,
she is scared of being told no,

she hates the thought of being hurt,
but she feels like she has no where else to go,

but everyday is a new beginning,
as so she thinks,

but it seems every night
what she fears is all she ever hears,

no matter how hard she tries to move on,
she cant seem to forget what is already gone.

that is comsumed with thoughts of all lies she has been told,

that day by day weakens by the bone,

that gets smaller with everything untold

ambition no one can touch,
but without motivation theres no luck

and the wisdom of the old,
that dont seem to save her from her own whole.
