This poem is about my daughter passing away
                                CANDACE'S PASSING

It's time they said to let her go.
This child of ours they've come to know.
They tried so hard to make her well,
But all the while her stats just fell.
She had more tubes than ever before,
Her serious condition we could not ignore.
We knew Candace's life would soon be over,
Our only request was could we hold her?
She laid in my arms so peaceful and at rest,
We knew in our hearts we did what was best.
I looked in her face and no longer seen pain,
I knew from that look that jesus just came.
With love ones around us she passed through the light,
For two and a half years she made our lives bright.
We'll see her again in heaven we know,
But it is still very hard letting her go.
It isn't easy saying good-bye,
We miss you so much it hurts so bad that we cry.
                                                                Love always and forever,
                                                                                      Mommie
