A Sense of Hope

A sense of hope is what you need,
Or you’ll just have to let it bleed.
You only need one motivation to guide you:
You’ll stand accused; they will deride you!

The worth of people is not making stands
Or doing whatever the situation demands.
The value lies in reaching for a star
Which one may deem is not too far…

So whatever you do, and wherever you go,
Ensure that your dread does not grow and grow –
Take a chance on a sense of hope
And stop them from making fun of a dope!

A game can only last so long
Until something or other must go wrong;
You can only win if you’re able to cope,
So select your game so you’re able to hope.

Life is a game, you can be sure of that –
Add to your legacy, and wear your best hat! 
Adjust to the need, so you’ll reach the end,
Life’s giving you a break – so continue to bend.
