This is a sample of novella I'm writing. It's non-fiction. |
Your cold blue eyes hit the ground, ashamed. I asked you again, in disbelief of what i've heard. Again, same answer. One more time I ask, giving you one more chance to change your answer, your mind. Same answer. Yes. no. no. NO. My world shatters, pieces falling, smashing into the ground around me. I don't bother to try and pick up the pieces this time. Fuck trying to put them back together. Let 'em fall. I'm sitting in a corner of my imagination, gun in my hand. It's almost been a year. And the same damn word that destroyed my everything is the one I used to let you back in it. My world is still broken, I left the shards and chunks there in front of your house that tragic night, you must've forgotten them due to what was waiting for you in the room where it used to be me you wanted waiting. So much happened in that room. I wonder what happened when I wasn't there. After you let me walk away. I mentally pull the cold metal trigger. My brain is blown from the inside out. I open my floodgate eyelids. Nothing falls from those hollow grey eyes of mine. |
