The second chapter of my book. It's in the future.
~500 years later~

The sun shone brightly in thee sky over the town of Vandaime. The wind whistled through the leaves and grass. The whole city shone brightly in colors of silver, gold, yellow and blue. The metallic buildings stood tall and proudly on each block and was adored by many. The streets bustled with cars and flashing traffic lightsall over. Crowds rushed along the sidewalks, streets and in and out of buildings. It was the beginning of spring and Easter was right around the corner. Every store was filled with spring things like flowers, candy, baskets, stuffed animals, colored grasses, eggs and egg dye. The schools were decorated too with paintings from all students and chalk drawings on the parking lot. The school bells rung signaling it was 3:00, time for the children to go home. "Well, come on girls! School's out!" A young sixth grader ran out of the classroom with her schoolbag and lunchkit. Five of her friends followed her while the rest stayed with some boys. The girls wore a short, blue skirt with a white, collered, short sleeve shirt with three buttons, knee high, white socks, and dark blue shoes. The boys wore dark blue pants with a belt, a blue, collered, short sleeve shirt, black socks and black shoes. All of them had thier shirts tucked in. The boys gathered in one corner of the room while the girls were at the other side except one. Her name was Missy and she was an African-American, unlike the others who were either American, Japeniese, or Spanish. She was defferent from the others because she had slight claws for fingernails which she always hid in her desk, and yellow eyes. She was a half demon and everyone resented her for that. She wore something else too. It was a black, diamond choker and golden hoop earings. Her ears were very sharp so she could hear everything people were saying about her. She sat there, at her desk, and listened to every insult that was spoken.

"Is she really a freak?" A new girl whispered.

"Yeah, just look at her. She's so wierd."

"Why is she here? This is no place for a freak-of-nature like her."

"I know. She should go back into the hole she crawled out from!" The lonely Missy finally couldn't take it anymore. She stood up angrily, almost knocking the chair over, and stormed out of the room with her long, black hair swinging behind her. She frowned as she walked outside and down the dirt path in the woods. She put her schoolbag on her back then ran through.

'I'm done with those people. Who cares about them anyway? I don't need friends. I don't need anybody!' She thought and stopped suddenly when the wind picked up. She looked up and saw the sky gray with thunderclouds and continued on her trek. She hiked up a few hills until she reached her house. It was a mansion, actually, and made from hard stone painted with vibrant colors that complimented each other. She walked up stairs to the porch and opened the big doors. She walked in to the foyer and set her schoolbag down on the table. She walked into the kitchen and put her lunchkit on the counter and continued on to the living room. Tired from school, she plopped herself on the couch and gazed at the ceiling in thought. She remembered what her mom said before she went to school. She wasn't going to be back until 6:00 and her father, well, he's been dead the day before she was born. She sighed then fell asleep. The wind howled outside even more every minute. Leaves blew everywhere and revealed an even younger girl than Missy. The 9-year-old girl had snow white hair with blue streaks, a light blue kimono on with dark blue pants, and a fox mask on. She had light blue nailpolish on her right fingernails and dark blue on her left and a diamond necklace that sparkled brightly. She stepped on the porch and open the door slowly making a creaking sound. Missy heard it and her eyes shot open. "Is somebody there?" She stood up and eyed the door. She walked closer to it and saw no one so she closed it. A strange presence filled the air as she turned around and saw the girl standing in front of her. "Who are you? You startled me."

"I apologize. I did not mean the surprise." Her voice was childish and young but chilling like the wind. "In fact, I thought it wouldn't be a surprise."

"What are you talking about?" She gave a wierd look at the girl who just eyed her back with her dark blue eyes.

"Are you serious? Well, I really don't blame you for not knowing."

"Know about what?" The girl walked over to the fire place in the living room and sat down in front of it.

"I know who you are, half breed. My eyes do not fool me. You are Missy, daughter of Kyogre. Is that correct?"

"How should I know? I never even met my father." She walked over to the girl in disgust. "And whoever you are, you have no reason to be here now leave!"

"I beg to differ, but I'm here to take you with me."

"To where?"

"My home. Let me ask you something,. Have you ever notice that you're different from these human females or how nobody wants you around?"

"Well, yeah I have." There was a brief moment of silence before the girl continued.

"If you come with me you will no longer be different. You are the same as I, two half demons in a time we don't belong in." She stood up and held out her hand to Missy. "Do you agree?" Missy backed up in reply earning a sigh from the younger girl.

"What about my mom? She'll be worried if I'm gone."

"That may be but I've come here to bring you back no matter if you want to or not."

"Get away from me!" Missy turned and ran back and out of the house while being chased by the girl. She finally stopped at the town shrine and looked back. The girl stopped chasing her a while ago but still Missy didn't feel safe. She darted inside the shrine and slid the wooden door shut. She walked to the alter and noticed a blue gem that was embedded in the chest plate of old, rusty, metal armor that was placed on the alter. Her eyes sparkled with the shining jewel then noticed someone in the room. She turned and saw the girl again. "Why do you want to take me with you?"

"I have reasons but one is I was ordered by a demon greater than you can even imagine. But why stop now? I have you in the exact place I needed to bring you to." The girl pulled out a paper talesmon from her pocket and threw it to the jewel. It stuck to it and burned a blue fire. The whole room turned blue to Missy as she felt herself falling through a portal and landed hard on the other side. She slept in front of a tree with a mark of a cloud on it.
