I got the inspiration from my friends
I see her in the hall
I marvel at her beauty
Her sparkling blue eyes
Her confidant walk
Her red-gold hair
She comes nearer
My palms sweat
My knees tremble
I force my lips
Into a nervous smile
As I try to find words
The words to say
I love you
I adore you
I worship you
Our eyes meet
She smiles warmly
I walk past her
Nodding calmly
Once she is past
A smile grows
My day is bright
