Mother-God with fertile white belly,
innocence planted but rooted in sin.
Mother-God, Forever-God, growing
a legacy of womb-bound redemption.

Mother-God with bounteous warm curves,
cup flowing over but knowing it not.
Mother-God, Unstable-God, losing
with knowledge what ignorance gained.

Mother-God with hollow black belly,
innocence washed away in rivers red.
Mother-God, Mother-Gone, giving
life unknown and never lived.

Baby-Mine with the unformed face,
beautiful would-be child taken in an instant.
Baby-Heart, Baby-Gone, fleeting
life that would have been Forever-Love.
