~ Unworthy~

You spent your life wasted,
just barely scraping by,
most of the time it was all your fault,
you didn't really try.

You knew it felt all wrong ,
but you did nothing to defend,
you went through life just floating by,
in hopes that it would end.

You never found true love,
until now it seems,
he looks at you like he does ,
almost like a dream.

you want to be so badly,
the person that he sees,
you've always been just trouble,
much more than he needs.

You think "yeah I can do this"
but then it falls apart,
hes slowly seeing the real you,
and how smart you really aren't.

you see the questions in his eyes ,
when you talk about the past,
the only question that your askin ,
how much longer will this last.

You pray that you will grow up,
and somehow make it fine,
before he comes to get you,
you dont have that much time.

you feel so damn unworthy,
and trying to think it through,
how you can go from being "this" ,
to being the woman he sees in you.
