Work in progress about a walk liam and his dad take
“The Walk”

On a cloudy overcast day Liam and his daddy decided to take a walk in the woods behind their house.  It was an everyday occurrence that Liam and his daddy took walks and today was no exception.
After Liam’s daddy had gotten his coat on and put his shoes on Liam’s daddy began to help Liam get dressed.  Daddy put on liams coat first, then put his hood up and then put Liam’s shoes on.  When they were dressed Liam and his daddy walked out the back door of the house.
They found the familiar trail that led into the woods.
“Liam, I am going to show you some things that you have never seen before” said Liam’s daddy.
“Like what daddy” answered Liam
“Continue walking with me and I will show you many neat and wonderful things.” Liam’s daddy told him.
They continued walking and came upon a trail that Liam had never seen before.  Liam’s daddy told him to “Hold on to my hand”
“Ok daddy!” said Liam
With that Liam and his daddy began to walk on the overgrown trail.  The trail was very overgrown with weeds, grass and small saplings.
After a short time walking Liam and his Daddy came to a clearing with a large fountain.  Amazingly the fountain began to talk to Liam.
“Hello Liam, how are you?” asked the fountain.
Liam was a little scared,  he had never had a fountain talk to him.  Liam replied to the fountain that he was fine.  “I’m fine,  my daddy and me are walking in the woods”
“Did you know that I know your daddy Liam?” Asked the fountain.
“No” replied Liam
“I met your daddy a long time ago when he took some water from a  stream that was just about dried up” began the fountain.  “Your daddy put some of the water in a bottle and put it in his pouch.”
“The water dried up shortly after your daddy did what he did”  said the Fountain.  “Your daddy then brought the water to this clearing and built a fountain”
“Really!!!!!” said Liam.
“Yes, after your daddy built the fountain and put the water in I realized that this was a very safe place for us to be” said the fountain.
“Wow, did my daddy save you?” asked Liam.
“Yes, he did, when he put the water in the fountain what little water was in there multiplied and filled the fountain to the brim” said the fountain. “Once the water filled the fountain the fountain came to life”
“Daddy did you do all that” asked Liam
“Yes I did but the fountain did all the work” said Liam’s daddy.
“And to this day the fountain has never run out of water” said the fountain.  “I want to thank your daddy for saving us from the stream drying up”
“You’re welcome” said Liam’s daddy.
“Well we need to continue on our walk” said Liam’s daddy to the Fountain.
“Bye for now.  It was really nice to meet you Liam.  I wanted you to know what your Father did for us when he did not have to do anything.  Your father is a really good man” said the fountain.
“Bye bye and I know, he is a really good Daddy” beamed Liam.

Liam and his daddy began to walk down the trail again and walked until they came to the biggest oak tree that Liam had ever seen.  It was so big that it’s leaves and limbs blocked out the sun.
“Hello Michael” boomed the big oak tree.
