You're in my dream

I see me
in a strange dream
slowly I seem to appear
alone, I am standing
at the top of a lonely hill

Wondering where you went
in this haziness
has me worrying
and not finding you
makes me panic

Desperately feeling for you
your not by my side
you've gone away somewhere
I keep thinking from me
its like you just disappeared

In my mind ,my mind seems focused
yet my future without you unclear
feel my eyes begin tearing
you've been gone only minutes
and already I'm missing you dear

Then a blonde flash of you
lights through to me
my mind spinnning back memories
just like you see in the movies

In one , you're hollering at me angrily
wildly waving, and clutching an empty bottle of pills
I keep telling you that I can hear you
just like I kept telling you before

Suddenly it becomes quite clear to me
I really wasn't listening
when I see you holding a pair of bloodstained shears in one hand
and in the other hand my bloody ears

It's not you thats been gone
it's been me all along
I'm the one disappearing in your dream
not you disappearing from mine
