I will try to sleep being cold as the dead.
For tonight I sleep alone in our cold bed.
I remember when our bed was cozy warm,
It's eternity since I've held you in my arms.

Did my jealousy help drive you away?
My darling angel come back and stay.
Bring back the warmth to our cold bed.
Your place is waiting to rest your head.

I know I do not deserve your warm love.
I took it for granted like the stars above.
My angel if you'll give me another chance.
I will keep our bed warm for our romance.

Please don't make me sleep another night.
In our cold bed things will again be right.
