Why Women Have Affairs



A lot of information has been written about men, their affairs, and why they have them. There seems to be much less written on women, who do the same thing. Women have affairs for basically the same reasons as men. But you don't hear about that as much. Why?

Many women are sex driven just like men and they sometimes can't seem to be satisfied in this area. We normally think of men as being more sexually driven than women but this is not necessarily true.

Sometimes women have been turned on early in their lives to sex due to various reasons such as rapes, molestations, experimentation and just their curiosity.

It certainly does not take just a male to learn at an early age that there are certain parts of the body that when touched that bring pleasurable sensations.

So we have pre-adolescent children realizing that sex is pleasurable. On top of that we have a society that exploits this in many ways such as movies, books, magazines, commercials, and certainly clothes.

Young girls grow into teenagers and by that time many have become sexually active. A few years later they then seriously start thinking of marriage and fall in love and marry.

Females just like males become restless in marriages that have lost it's luster. They might feel they are losing their edge and want to see if they can still attract attention from other males the way they used to. Yes, there is a middle life crisis in a female too. When they find that they can attract someone else, many of them cross the line.

Many of these women feel that they are being ignored by husbands that are work-a-holics with little time to spend with their wives or children. So they seek out males that show some interest in them and or those that they share things in common with.

Sometimes the wife in these marriages does not work and she grows lonely and bored and as they watch husbands fish, hunt, participate in other sports and in general run with the boys, they will decide to have an affair because of boredom and a sense of unfulfillment.

There might be a husband who pays far little attention to an attractive wife. He many times abstains from giving her compliments or fails to satisfy her sexually. These women are easy targets for men looking for affairs.

And of course sometimes the husband finds sex with the same woman boring so he looks for someone else. Women do the same thing.

Also, sometimes a stay at home wife goes back to school to get that degree and in the process awakes that sleeping woman. She starts growing intectually, socially, and starts longing for contact with more interesting people. She actually starts outstripping her husband. During this time, she becomes aware much more of her own sexuality.

Then soon she meets someone that fulfills many of the needs described above and she in involved quickly in an affair.

When women do have affairs, they many times end in heartbreak for herself and the affair partner. Sometimes she stays in the old marriage after the affair is in the open but in many cases a divorce is seen and she does not usually marry the affair partner.

Of course, a lot of damage is done to families on all sides when an affair takes place. Hearts are broken, families are damaged, and friends are lost. Again children suffer the most in affairs.

So women have affairs for basically the same reasons as men do. The results are also the same. So why do they do it? They will usually tell you that their needs were not being met and they went looking elsewhere. This is the same reasons that males give for cheating.
