A creative, but still rough sample of creative writing
Shattered like glass, what took years to build combusted like an unstable chemical.  Trust: the hardest bond to build, yet the easiest to break.  Trust once existed here, but the shards have spread to far from the scene, the bond is irreparable.

The once existing trust was real, as real as the saddest moments in life and as valuable as the very best. The components that built up this special relationship were: security, confidence and belonging.  The trust once promised a safe place where anything could be said, nothing in this safe place ever seemed to selfish, naïve, stupid or even selfish.  The trust defined the friendship; it created a sense of righteous, as my deepest secrets laid safe with her and hers with me.  Confidence was created through the support exchanged with one another’s dreams, ideas, thoughts, hopes, and style.  Honesty was well respected and never abused, but even when the truth hurt, it was always said.  Belonging went along hand in hand as our friendship separated us from the group, I was her best friend and she was mine.  Not just the best friend who spend allot of time together, but the real deal, we were the two that genuinely loved each other, we were the kind of friends who made other people jealous of our relationship.

The trust forgotten for mere seconds, like a bomb, exploded with our friendship.  The opportunity of destruction taken, and the damage done.  Although our friendship eventually mended our superior bond stripped from us,  fake trust emerged in the absence of or once held connection.  I’ll never truly trust her again.
