sang th’ nightingale’s lovely song.

cast thy echo 'pon th’ wind.
Aloft midnight's glint moonbeams;
gently lends my love, floating free!

Guide my encrimsoned heart;
lain soft, 'pon entwining laurels.
Soft kiss's dance amid’st th’ breeze,
embracing th’ butterfly’s lofty wings.
