Don't leave...

I do not know why,
I do not know how,
It feels so strange,
What i'm feeling right now.

I gave my love to her,
not to mention my trust,
but they just threw them away,
ignoring my passion...my lust.

Can she not feel,
My heart breaking,
Can she not feel,
The passion she's taking,

I don't even know why,
But she's leaving,
That special person..
I must have been dreaming,

She never had feelings for me...
It's obvious...How could she?
Otherwise she wouldn't leave...
She couldn't of loved me.

She says it's for the best,
Says she needs to do what's right,
Needs to leave me to save more pain,
But without her there's no day...only night.

It has torn me apart...
I feel like i'm lost...
Why is this happening?
Why am i paying this cost.

I tried my best...
Don't leave me tonight...
But it was to late,
She was taking flight.

Broken and battered,

She was all that mattered...
