Lies and hurt,
That was all you gave me.
Our bond created from a single look when we met!
I fell hard and fast no intentions of turning back,
The second our eyes met, my heart was yours.
The first kiss we shared, my first kiss,
Sweet and innocent yet sparks flew amiss!
Our meetings became needy,
Limits were pushed and broken,
Every chance to be together taken, alone or not!
People found out and talked,
I should have known it would happen.
Our secret no longer between us.
Friends and family ridiculed us for what we'd done,
We should have never been together!
Now, both hearts seemed to be deeply involved,
Our passion not just passion any longer!
We should have kept a distance between us,
Our lives then would have been that much simpler!
