Little Ol'e Me

Little am I not to know when,
the love of a man or concern of a friend.
Little am I not to know how,
to drink from the cup or take from the cow.
Little are we, not to be sure,
that life has real meaning and love is all pure.
Little are you not to see why,
God gives you hard lessons
and you still pass them by.

Little hearts and little minds
who live a little silly rhyme.
Today, tomorrow or however
it should be...
There is more to my life
than little ol'e me...
