The Sniper Chicken

One day there was a chicken, who lived upon a farm.
The grass was green, the air was clean, the day was warm and calm.
Unhappy was this chicken; she knew then of her fate.
She knew that soon she'd meet her doom upon the farmer's plate.

But this chicken was clever, her brain began to race.
She planned to get a rifle and shoot him in the face.
"A chicken with a rifle?" you say in disbelief.
But this chicken was different, she'd trained to be a thief.

She crept out of the farm yard, then ran into the park.
Tiptoeing through the shadows and hiding in the dark.
She moved just like a ninja and didn't make a sound.
She used her super chicken sense to find her way around.

She came upon a tree stump and hid behind a root.
And using it for cover, slipped into a ninja suit.
She went then to the gun shop but didn't mess about.
She broke in through a window and got a rifle out.

She got back to the farm yard, the clock struck half past six.
The farmer in his kitchen was eating Weetabix.
She climbed upon a ladder whilst hidden in a shed.
And aimed the sniper rifle at the farmer's head.

She squeezed the trigger lightly; it knocked her to the floor.
She blew the farmer's brains out, they dribbled down the door.
But still she wasn't happy; she didn't feel free.
She took the sniper rifle on a twisted killing spree.

The death count was astounding: twelve cats, four dogs, a cow.
But even after all this death, was she happy now?
So when it's Sunday dinner, your lips you will be lickin'.
I hope to God for your sake, it's not a sniper chicken.
