Best Friends

Then, we were strangers
We were unfamiliar
Then, we’re unknown beings,
Empty of care for each other

Months ago, we were friends,
We were intimate friends
Months ago, we’re thoughtful beings
Showing friendly care inside

Weeks later, we became best friends
Best friends so close to each other
Weeks later, we’re best friends very happy,
‘coz we’ve known each other

Days later, I felt something strange
The strangest thing I’ve ever felt
Days later, the feeling got deeper,
Deeper and deeper and deeper...

At first I kept it,
But my heart did not let me
Can’t stop myself from thinking
‘coz maybe it’s not just a lil’ thing

And finally now, I can’t keep this heart of mine shut
Now I confess what that feeling was
The feeling I kept inside
The feeling that I can never ever deny in my life

My heart says “I love you!!!”
Really my heart says it’s true
And really your absence would make me blue
Maybe that’s the reason why for eternity I really need you

Truly it’s wonderful
How we got in love with each other
I solemnly wish that this overwhelming feat
Go on forever and ever...
