When I wrote this... I don't know. I guess I was overwhelmed. It's hard to explain.
Looking out the limpid window
Rain slicing through the air          
Autumn leaves drift
only to rest in the shallow puddles

Looking outwards
lone and gray
clouds like dirty pillows          
darken the day

Hold on tight
The wind beats, so fierce
The sun so remote
My heart so void of

Better Days                    

Looking out the window
My breath fogs the glass
Holding back tears
failing to, as they crash

Looking back up
The sky clears quick
from dismaying to revered
Air so thick                    

Holding in my breath
watching the rays
pierce the clouds
I’m reassured of

Better days
