Why does the grass turn from yellow to green?
Why oh why is the world so cruel?
Why oh why perhaps its you.

Why oh why does rain fall in drops?
Why oh why does the rain not plop?
Why oh why is water wet?
Why do you think not i am willing to bet.

Why oh why does the pond not ripple?
Why oh why do they call it a dimple?
Why do people think that all is so simple?
Why do i write this poem alas,you cannot know.
