short poem regarding alcoholism.
It Creeps

It creeps in slowly
As my head warms
I love it and hate it
But its time spent

I want to do more
But for now I feel busy
I’m not alone
You’re in my blood

This isn’t the first time
It isn’t the last
My weaknesses wander
They always return

I have a fear
I must overcome
The drinks mostly done
But it creeps slowly out.
