Knowing

Her phone stays silence now
As she sits alone to think
Tears running down her face
Holding onto that last good-bye

Never thought she would see the day
He would turn away from her
Watching him walk away
Was the hardest thing

She knows she will be better off
In the long run
This will be right
For now she just hopes for a saving grace

Why does it have to hurt so bad
Why must she feel so much pain
Why cant love come to her
In better ways

As she sits and thinks
Trying to understand the pain
Wondering where she will turn now
Knowing everything she heard was fake

How does she handle such a thing
How does she let go
How does she tell her heart
What her mind already knows

Something like an old sad song
Something you dont want to hear
But she know in the end
It's something she must feel

Knowing she not have a place to turn
Hiding her tears from all to see
Hiding the pain with a smile
Knowing she has gone the extra miles

Sitting thinking of times together
Knowing that it wasn't going to be forever
Heart holding on to nothing
Mind letting go of something

How does she turn her heart
From what it once knowns
And move on with life
To let it grow
