LOVE THE BIRDS YOU'RE WITH
Cathe Ferguson
July 4, 2007
I hear the feathered laughter
from a branch beyond my touch
coming through the sunbeams;
love the birds you're with;
they're the ones that mean so much
because when you've gone away,
your heart has been misplaced
and all the birds that are
become birds now left behind
and we all know what's left behind
becomes a treasure chest
So when I hear the feathered laughter
from a branch beyond my touch,
I have to stop; remind myself,
love the birds you're with;
right now they mean so much.
