under the streetlight...i cry out in despair
Lying under the streetlight, the rain falling fast on my face, i cry out in despair
From the moment i met you, you've destroyed all my reason for living, taken my hope and love and crushed it. You took away my only chance of happiness.
You made me believe such wonderful lies, took advantage of my youth and ignorance of the world.
Yet now, as i lie here on the floor, in the dark, you ask for my forgiveness.
How can i forgive you, when i gave you everything, and you just shut me out.
