A poem about a teen's view of a mother's love. [written on impulse!]

They say a mother's love,
Is just the best kind.
But it's just this love,
Which seems so hard to find!

A warm embrace,
A comforting smile,
All not what I get.
All I get is nagging so vile.

Sure, she loves me unconditionally,
Treats me with such care.
Also, whenever I may need her,
She is always just right there.

But she does not trust me at all,
As though i'm a robber in disguise.
I listen to her tell me how I should behave,
Like a broken tape recorder that never dies!

Still for some reason or another,
When that Mothers' Day arrives,
I remember just why I love her so,
Because she gave my brother and me our lives.

i love you mum...
