There's not much left of me
I remain awake
Too far into the night
Revisiting each mistake
Revising every fight

I am such a failure
I now feel so numb
My heart yearns for departure
And the rest of me's struck dumb

My body's limp and fragile
My face is pale and old
There is no light within my eyes
And my spirit has been sold

I am not where I want to be
For I am far from home
But maybe if you could love me
The life in me would show
