A funny story about me falling.
Make us laugh in 300 words or less.

I am unfortunately blessed with the worst knees on the planet. Ever since I was a small child I have had dislocating knee caps. I can straighten both of my legs out and my knees will be out of place, just sitting there to the side. It doesn’t hurt unless I am walking and they go out a certain way. When I was little I used to get bored sitting in church, so I would play with my knees. My Mom would slap me because she would look over, and I would have my knees out of place.

Growing up I learned to handle my knee problem with patience, but not much grace. I fell in the weirdest ways, and places. If I didn’t get hurt, it was actually kind of funny. I learned to laugh at myself instead of get angry.

One night I was working at Subway making sandwiches. My childhood friend Amy was working with me, and my co-worker, Pam. We had a huge line going, and I was moving at a pretty good pace, not paying attention. I turned around toward the microwave, and my knee went out. Of course I did not just fall, that would have been too easy. Somehow, my body ended up twisting around, swooping my hand across the front line, sending this lady’s seafood and crab sandwich up the air, and against the wall, as I went up in the air, and rolled across the floor. There I was sprawled out on the floor. While the customers and Pam stared at me wide eyed, Amy and I started cracking up. The customers didn’t think it was too funny, especially the Seafood lady. Amy and I will still laugh about it to this day.
