Why?

Why did you leave me in this world,
Full of death and sorrow?
A grandfather to me that is now gone,
Due to a suicide act.
A Saturday I will never forget,
For you were the only one I could trust.
My life seems to have come to a stop,
My mind full of questions that will never be answered,
A new day but still full of sorrow and grief,
A prayer full of questions but no faith to follow,
You are gone and it seems to be a dream.
How do I move on without you to call,
You were a phone call away,
Now you are up in Heaven watching me everyday.
So as I say goodbye my heart and soul aches,
Til the day we meet again I have a few words to say,
I love you Poppop and miss you so very much,
All I want to know is,
Why did you take your own life,
And leave me here all alone?
