Perhaps dirtiness is close to Godliness.
Sometimes I think I should blow a hole in my soul,
See if I can get infected.

Infected with life and love,
Joy and peace,
Direction and meaning.

Maybe it would be the end of me,
I’d destroy my very being,
Turn to heartless Clay,
Decay away and burn in Hell.

No matter,
I’m too clean to be infected.
