A relationship between father and daughter |
Father & Daughter I know times were rough, times were hectic. We hadn't been the best of friends, We had our differences; both you and I, But still we loved each other; Father to Daughter. I'm sorry for all the troubles and pains I've caused, I'm sorry for ever doubting you; or even ignoring you. You're a fantastic father to me, don't ever forget I still love you, and you're still my number one. Each day goes by, I think of you. Wondering where you are, if you're okay. And I call, I hear your voice; ever so clear. You seem so healthy and vibrant. I know you miss me terribly, But I miss you just the same, Even though I am not with you, You're still my best friend. Life isn't always perfect, they say And I guess it's true. You have to learn to face the facts the hard way And it may cause fret and pain. But don't worry too much Things are going great. Yes, I wish I was still with you, But I know I must move on in life. I love you, Dad, really I do. And I seriously mean it. No one could ever take your place, You're in my heart forever. God chose the perfect parents for me I know you sometimes deny that fact. Even though Mom's walking with Jesus You're still walking with me. As of now, you're still my father. Once again, I'm sorry for causing you any strife. I know it's not easy raising a child at your age, But still, you did a wonderful, if not perfect, job. Still one more thing to keep in mind, I love you, Dad. Never, ever forget that. You're the greatest father, friend Companion I've ever had. Thanks for all these great years, Love, Your Baby Girl... { |
