More Poetry.
Pushing and pulling you find yourself screaming
screaming
To hold me close against the coming storms
Protection ever after for anything and everything

But you pushed me away
Without getting to know me at all
You pushed me down
Onto the ground
Away from you for the last time
Even though it was the first time

Thoughts colliding and crushing down
The special place you held within my heart
A part of my soul that fell away
When you pushed me away on the first day

There is never that silence
silence
Inside of me when you are near
It shuts my lips and staples them together

Only allowing me to push and pull short breaths
Through the jail cell of my mouth
Metal and teeth bars
Governed by a wicked tongue
That pushes at it's cage to get out

Let me OUT!
Out of this town, out of this trap
Away where you pushed me
While I tried to pull you close
And was rejected once again in the end
There's no way out

So I sit here in my room screaming
screaming
To find my way out of this place
Out of this emotion

That I pulled too close once again
When I should have been pushing
Pushing you away for the last time
When it was only the first time
