Just like some season that quietly takes over
With blossoming highlights and momentary promises
Moving us into wind chill features, lying without sight, only feeling.
Are we disintegrating like she dissolved us back then?
I can feel my skin singeing as it did back then,
Dividing the skin that was keeping us together
