Entry bus ride

Ride to Nowhere

I jump on bus to where I do not know, can’t wait, yet am very varied afraid,
The excitement sets in, the ambiguity stifles, yet I’m o.k. with that, kind of,
This continual confusion of future arrests me, yet inside a small prompt says push forward,
Just go, so I look out the window, and realize, as a submarine dives underwater we are going…

Through the asphalt, effortlessly as a needle through the skin, we all exclaim,
Who are my companions?-short thought-as earth worms smear against the windows of the bus,
What was that crunch? I just saw a skeleton out my window sharing shards splintered-coffin?
Ugh. The rich dark soil we trespass tiny rocks scraping windows as we go deeper and deeper,

Water? An underground spring, we are now floating underwater, underground-Oh my gosh,
Wild creatures pass by, we’re going up and downward left ride-smooth ride as a ride constructed, Purple, black, white, mottled, they stick on glass as starfish on clear glass stones, friendly, curious, harmless they be, we appear to be the aquarium they’re looking into, faces pressed against the glass, no threat to us, yes, down in front-all becomes dark, luminescent spots float,

Underwater stars, like jellyfish but also much like round beads, mesmerizing, still just as friendly
Where are we, it seems we’ve traveled for miles, I look around me and no faces seem familiar,
But it all still seems all right, I giggle as I feel some energy invading our mid-earthen ride, it’s
Very strong, undeniable, exhilarating as well, we’re all starting to glow, like the beings outside,
The ride, I’m feeling energized, smiling, laughing securely, I wake up on my couch as the cat,

Is gently rubbing her head against my face, what a nice dream.
