A fictional experience where I encounter a meteor.
I was walking down the street
Keeping to myself
When all of a sudden
Things turned orange
Why they turned orange?
I don't know
But little did I know
This was the first thing I knew
That ever happened out of nowhere.
But it came out of somewhere
Just out of nowhere to me.
It must have come from somewhere
What's orange, I thought
Mixture of yellow and red
And then I looked up
A meteor landed right in front of my feet
Turning everything a brilliant orange
Right in front of my feet
I thought "Well that's neat"
That's quite nice
Big ball of flaming ice
Right under my nose
The flame evaporated to, god, I don't know
And then it was just a rock
A tiny piece of rock
People gazing at it,
Touching it and burning their hands
Baffling the masses.
I took it home.
And it's been in my living room ever since.
