I got tickle the dragon title from a book I read on the development of the atomic bomb.
The Greatest of Fears Realized

We can gather the best of mankind.  The brightest of minds.  The shear magnitude of intelligence unimaginable.
We can make whats necessary given the time, given the tools.  To do the impossible.

"My God, what have we done?" - Who said that?
Surely Mr. Lewis you did not know.
You were not just tickling the Dragon were you?
That was not a flick of the tail......
I guess "The Gadget" worked, as seen from the fireworks below

This is not Manhattan
no, no, no
Nor the 4Th of July with electron snow
The jade green glass told Oppy all he needed to know.
The Dragon was ready and good to go.
"I am become death"
"The destroyer of worlds"
You knew then Oppy what would next be green glass

The great 13
of all mankind.

Did we cure cancer?
Did we find anything?
Surely we took those minds and put them to good use
We cured 66,000 souls of the disease we call life the first time the dragon was free.  How did you feel Mr. Lewis, is it what you thought you would see?
3 days and "Fat Man" was on the loose.  He ate 33,000 more that hungry day.

How did you feel Oppy?
With all you achieved....
Were your 12 Disciple's glad they followed your lead?
