Insults
They come from the mouth of those of a higher stature
They stab at your heart and soul.
They Yank the happiness from you
Your Friends tell you it’s a load of bull
But they can’t undo the damage done
By the nasty words that come from a cruel tongue
The Insults from people hurt most
When the write it in notes
And pass it right in front of you giggling and smirking
Insults hurt but at least you know
that you’re not the only one tortured so
When you’re filled with Despair
Turn to me and dare compare
The cruelty of words said to you to mine
For you’ll find
That I am hurt all the time
So every time they pass a note
think of me for then the people can’t gloat
Of how they torture the best
When I live here with the rest
Of the outcast and geeks
Emos and Freaks
The Insults will never fade
But the tongues will.
