I Never Believed

I never believed there was a love for me.
History had not been kind.
I had wished there would be some one for me to sooth my worried mind.
I had no intentions of finding you; I guess I was just too blind.
But God had a better plan for me.
He knew it the whole time.
He placed you in my life just at the right time.
To plant a seed of love to grow, to entwine your heart with mine.
He paired our lives together body, soul and mind.
Now hope springs eternal between my heart and mind.
The love you have so freely given will be with me till the end of time.
