POEM ABOUT ARMAGEDDON, JUDGEMENT DAY!!!! |
Armageddon Your day begins as normal Routine and the odd chore, You’ll pop into town with a friend But are oblivious as to what’s in store. You’ll grab up your bargains And groceries too, When a sudden chill Comes over you. The fresh breeze that was Has now turned to gales, You find yourself clinging To the nearest rails. You hold on for your life But you can’t help but see, The sheer chaos and mayhem And so much debris. Through all of this You can still hear the screams, Of people like you Who don’t know what this means. Buildings so strong, totally destroyed Uprooted trees just blown away, It’s at this point you find yourself Religious or not really starting to pray. The thunder’s so loud The lightening, so bright, Then the skies open up And oh what a fright. For, loud enough For the world to hear, Comes a voice from above That fills you with fear. Amid all the panic You look for your friend, But I’m afraid you’ll find She met her end. You question yourself, why her not me But it matters not what you do or say, I’m afraid that you’ve just witnessed What is known as Judgement day. Suddenly everything goes silent And oh, so eerily still, Just thank God you’re a survivor Who obviously did his will. ONY |
