Fall Trees Crisp colour displayed, Rearing like proud old men Heads held high into the cool Fresh air Fantastic red and yellow Burn against the blue sky Each leaf wet and bright Decay and beauty clinging To every branch -jordan sharpe Snow caked forest wrapped in white and smothered in cold the snow caked forest sleeps content to let me slip within its dream I walk softly onward through the snow caked forest every over-arching sentinel comforts me all I want is this white silence out of this snow caked forest I stumble, weeping for peace -jordan sharpe Bitter Pool Bitterness is a pool Through the shallows I wade Plunging onward Driven by unrelenting hope All I find is water Filling up my lungs Dead silence is the murky, blue music I die to -jordan sharpe Love I feel the longing shoulders hunched eyes sqeezed tightly I want your warmth to rely on my strength From head bowed to eyes raised I see you those jewel orbs never wavering our locked gaze keeps the moon bound in the sky Memory of you on my fingertips Burning up my fears Gold strands fall lightly Intimate heat Grey and deep, I lose myself Lilting laughs and sweet smiles Ours Chin tucked into your shoulder here is where I'm content keep us one never let go -jordan sharpe |
