Dawn

This is a collection of short stories that all have a large overarching enviroment and background. I hope to turn them into a novel one day, when I have more free time. The story revolves around a society which is run by a religious sect called The Order, who keep their population happy, yet blind to the corruption and terror involved in their methods. War broke out in the lands however, causing several splits into warring factions; an alternative religious order known as Resurget, looking to preach a different message to the people, and the secular NFSD (New Forged Steel Dawn), who use powerful machines and modern technology as opposition to the magic and holy powers of their counterparts. It is a story of love, betrayal, despair, war, and of the toils of the common man. Enjoy.
