Ask her if she likes brown bananas
Because you know, they aren’t perfect
And eye candy, they are most certainly not
I need to know because brown bananas are speaking to me today
Not in a literal sense, naturally
Nature and imperfection and mushiness around the edge
That speaks to flies – reporters
Yet wholesome and sweet under the brown age spots
And mushy edges.
