a love that i can't seem to find
Oh, love!
Why do you taunt me so?
With soft whispers of beauty
and feigned affection of sorts,
you break my heart repeatedly.
Crushed spirits deflating,
over time rebuilding with
a loss. A solid hole
of virtue and of vice.
A perpetual reminder
of what I cannot taste.
I wither.
