Raining, it is.
Simple drops fall from the smooth midnight blackness,
Piercing the dry earth with a wetness,
That has been longed for in this drought.
It, by itself,
Is urged to never refrain
But to flourish in the onslaught of the pounding rain,
That quenches Mother Nature's thirst for life.
One small drop,
Out of the millions that fall simultaneously
Can make a difference to many.
A writer, I am,
Thriving to make a difference,
Or a change to any readers that may,
At this very moment,
Be following along just as you.
My incentive for life is just as the rain falling upon my head, soaking,
Drenching me with a new look at the world.
