staying up late is such a bitch

Because no one is around

And in my loneliness my regrets gnaw at my insides

Nothing is worse than being a dreamer

They have the worst time finding love

Like Romeo and Juliet I always catch realists

And like the star crossed lovers every romance starts off great

But my story is longer and the outcome is a let down

Now I just want to be alone with my music

It tortures me with its truths

But I keep listening with agony

And write these songs about you

You are my unwanted muse

Because I would rather have you than these songs
