I wrote this the day I move outta my parents house to live in Boston.
You had me in your pocket

Never letting me free

Never letting me roam

You wanted me close

You wanted me home

How can I learn from my mistakes

If you never let me make one

I have taken all I can take

I'm through with this shit, I'm done

I need to run and play by myself

I need to fall, trip, scrap and bump

I need a chance to take in all of natures wealth

I'm leaving for places unknown

I promise I won't wander too far

I'm sorry, Mom and Dad, but I'm leaving home.
